Non Profit Agency Organization Endowment Funds
Nonprofit Endowment Funds enable nonprofit organizations to utilize the Foundation's investment capabilities in assuring long term growth of their endowment funds and viability of the agency. The Foundation holds and manages these funds in its asset pool, making regular reports and distributions as requested. The nonprofit can elect to receive a fixed percentage of the fund's assets each year or to have earnings build the fund. Sample Agreement

Gwen Cherry Park Foundation Fund This Fund supports the Gwen Cherry Park National Football League Youth Education Town (YET) Center, a 20,000 square foot facility established through a collaboration between the South Florida League, Miami-Dade Cunty and others to provide educational and recreational opportunities for minority disadvantaged and at-risk youth. The Fund is a tribute to Gwen Cherry, the first African American woman elected to the Florida Legislature and the County's first black female attorney. After careers as a teacher and lawyer, she was elected to the Florida House of Representatives where she introduced the Equal Rights Amendment, chaired the state's committee for International Woman's Year and co-authored Portraits in Color. Then Governor Bob Graham eulogized her as a champion for the rights of all people and a voice of reason and concern.
Donor Advised Funds
Donor-Advised Funds enable the donor to make grant recommendations to our Board of Governors regarding specific charities. This spares donors the cost and administration of private foundations, and offers a greater tax deduction. Our staff can recommend programs in the donor's areas of interest. Sample Agreement
