SCHOLARSHIPS
 The Continental Group Scholarship Fund Established in 2006, The Continental Group Scholarship Fund enhances educational opportunities for the children of current, full-time employees of The Continental Group, Inc and its subsidiaries. The Continental Group, Inc. demonstrates its firm commitment to education and the community at large by annually contributing to this Fund. Dade Community Foundation administers this scholarship program independent of The Continental Group, Inc. Eligible applicants must be high school seniors and the children of current, full-time employees, working at least one year for The Continental Group, Inc. or its subsidiaries. The successful applicant will need to maintain a 3.0 grade point average, providing the Foundation with an official transcript prior to receiving subsequent year scholarship awards. Four $1,000 four-year scholarships may be awarded annually. The Continental Group Scholarship Fund application deadline is March 27, 2008.
Jackie Eads Scholarship This scholarship was established by Miami Coral Park Alumni to recognize and assist Miami Coral Park students who personify Jackie's ideals of Character, Leadership, Academic Excellence and Service to others. Eligible students at Miami Coral Park Senior High School should contact school CAP Advisors for details on application and guidelines.
 Alan R. Epstein 'Reach for the Stars' Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was established by Alan's family to honor the memory of an outstanding young man who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1998 at the age of 18. Alan lives on through the words and remembrances of his loved ones and all who knew him, as well as through the future accomplishments of those who benefit from the scholarships given in his name. A minimum of $10,000.00 in scholarships will be awarded annually to deserving students in Dade County who have successfully dealt with life's obstacles. Application deadline: April 11, 2008
